CATERHAM Project V Electric Sports Car-Thumbnail

For half a century, Caterham has dedicated itself to the preservation of Colin Chapman’s legendary Lotus 7, ensuring the enduring legacy of one of the greatest sports cars ever created. In commemoration of this remarkable milestone, Caterham proudly presents Project V, an all-electric sports car that remains true to the Seven’s core philosophy of minimizing weight and maximizing agility. Underneath its captivating Italdesign-designed bodywork, Project V harnesses the power of a 268-horsepower electric motor, seamlessly propelling the rear wheels with the energy stored in its 55kWh battery. This electrifying combination grants the two-seater a blistering 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds, while offering an impressive range of 249 miles. Complementing its spirited performance, the fully-adjustable suspension and high-performance brakes affirm Project V’s sporting prowess. Caterham aims to introduce the eagerly anticipated Project V to the market in late 2025 or early 2026, further cementing its commitment to innovation and the spirit of driving pleasure.
